VV or VG Turbo Controller

I hear about all these people adding Variable Vane and Variable Geometry turbos but can't find any information on controllers for them. I have got no reply from any turbo manufacturers. Any info or suggestions? Thanks!

BTW I am looking for a turbo for a 450" diesel.
