I am doing a small research project on wind failures of houses during construction and am trying to collect as many sample failures as possible to help with classifying the failures that happen. We expect most are due to inappropriate bracing of the walls, but have research implying that sealing window openings as early as possible may help. We are trying to develop some better "best practices" for North American homes.

Does anyone have photos/news links/personal experiences to share?

I'm sure you've googled hurricane failures and houses? It's a treasure trove.

Please remember: we're not all guys!

Maybe if you meant this one!

Google has given me some leads but I'm looking specifically for houses under construction, which can fail under a big gust. Usually not newsworthy.

Seems like there have been a few threads in this forum over the last couple of years with images (or at least links to stories) of semi-finished places being turned into rubble...

Here's one that happened in Waterloo, Ontario at the end of 2017. Link, and another in Ilderton, Ontario Link. Both happened during construction due to high wind load.
