Hello,

On version 2027 now but wondering if anybody knows what happened to the ability to select a solid body in a component and RMB click "link to work part" it was a shortcut for wave geometry linker. Disappeared maybe two to three years ago. Sure do miss it and wondering if it morphed into something else.

I think that option is/was dependent on the Wave Engineering license.
If you have that license, try toggle on before the right click.
If you do not have the license, - it is expensive.

I'm not so sure. I have one license with the wave functions included; using that license, I see the "link to work part" shortcut in NX 1919, but not in NX 2206. It looks like it was removed for some reason.

I'd suggest contacting your VAR or Siemens support to ask the question.

It was removed as of NX1926:
The common Wave context commands had been removed from the modeling object sensitive context menus in NX1926, e.g. <Link to Work Part> or <Link and Extrude>.
According to Development, shortcut toolbars, menus, and radials have grown a bit out of control so they removed those internal shortcuts and other commands from the object's context menu.
And since these shortcuts were hidden command without exposed IDs, they cannot be customized back into any UI.
