Wave links to retain name of parent element

I want my wave links to have the same name as the items in the parent part. Some of my links retain the name but others don't. For example the parent element is Extrude (12) "Split Plane/Face". The link in my child component is "Linked Face (51)" I would like it to at least keep my assigned suffix, "Split Plane/Face". Is there a setting or something I need to do?

Sorry, I'm using version 8.5
