Ok, So I have been going though some training material for 7.5 and 8. and I am not sure that I totaly understand the differences between WAVE MODE and creating Wave Geometry Links.
The main differences that I have come across are the fact that in WAVE MODE you can send objects from one Component to a new Component file which you can't do with the Wave Geometry Link. And if I understood the material correctly, these are Position Indepentdent Links.( Is this correct?)
So based on that, I have three Questions.
1) Are there any specific cases where one should be used over the other?
2) Are there any other differences that I didn't notice.
and Last.... This one is more directed towards John.
3) Since NX 8.5 offers the ability to create Position Independent Wave Links with the Wave Geometry Linker, can we assume that WAVE MODE is on its way out, or to be replaced.
