Could I set the colors of the axis for the WCS?

No. The color scheme is the same as that being used in several other CAD systems and were choosen so as to comply with this albeit, de facto 'standard'.

John, Isn't there a tweak for color blindness ?
( somewhere there is a very faint bell ringing on this.)

Not really. We used to supply a pair of alerternative color tables which controlled the color of the objects being CREATED in UG/NX which would show a NON-color-blind person what something would LOOK LIKE to a color-blind person (there was a table for both the common Red/Green color-blindness as well as the more rare Yellow/Blue condition) however they were not intended to make the system easier to use by someone who was color-blind, but rather were provided to help the rest of us appreciate what a color-impared person would see if he looked at your models or drawings.
