For those that do their own cad, do you have a reccomendation for a dynamic block for weld symbols?
I cant find one thats all inclusive, and I am not versed in writing dynamic blocks.

I struggle to find one that does fillet welds correct, orientation of symbol, weld size location, weld length, etc.

Thanks

I use Welds.lsp circaa 1997 by Chris Crain. Great stuff!

Also Fasteners by Al Rogers and Steel shapes Al Rogers and GT Watson

None of those are a dynamic block but rather Lisp, dialogs and inserts

I made this dynamic fillet weld block a few years ago.

There is no text associated with it. It's just the symbol.

My office does a lot of roadway/bridge work, so our CAD is setup in Feet. You might have to scale the block down 1/12 if your format is inches. (or scale for SI units)

Originally, I wanted to have a 'super-weld block' with all the weld types available.......but it took me forever to make this simple block and I gave up.

No warranties expressed or implied.....

Thanks guys. RobyenIT thats a nice arrangement of info all in one plate.

IFRs, I am trying to use dynamic block. See the one I uploaded. I have been able to hack that one to do what I want it to.

KissyMoose - That's a pretty slick set of blocks.

I like the way you have it broken into 7 separate blocks that make up the various welding processes.

I like it! Thanks!
