Welded conenection + longitudinal welded joint for shell

I would like know if is possible put a welded connection (coupling) in longitudinal welded joint (shell)?

Agreed. See UW 14 for requirements pertaining to openings in welds.
 
Then I agree w/ Weldtek providing you are under Sec VIII, Div 1. Very helpful to state this kind of thing in the OP.

Yes you can. However it is very poor design feature and should be avoided if possible.
