Welding Aluminum to Mild Steel

I would like to know the procedure to weld aluminum to mild steel. Is there any reference material available?

Aluminum and steel plate can be clad to one another by explosive welding. I'm not aware of any other way to do it.

it can be done i have done it several times with a tig but the weld is very brittle........use 2% thoriated tungsten .....pure tung will just melt away
