What AWWA Code is "equivalent" to B31.3?

Guys I apologize for the x-post but I thought some of you pipe and process-heads might, who don't normally frequent the target forums (civil engineer ;-) ), know the answer to this...

Is there an AWWA design code for the design of water distribution systems that does the same job as, say, ASME B31.3 does for refinery process piping? In other words, is there an AWWA code that specifies such design issues as allowable stresses, joint requirements, inspection, testing, supports, flexibility, etc.?

I have seen AWWA M11 but that does not qualify as a code. Usually, a Code is "statutized" in one's state laws as being a requirement for design. For example, in Kalifornia, 31.3 is written into the statutes as a requirement that owners of those systems must follow.

Hi Pete,

There is no AWWA piping CODE.

I guess there is no interest in codifying water. However, we are working on B31.12 for Hydrogen Piping. Just add the 2o to H2o and you have water.
