Hi everybody,

I have a problem, Please I need some help :)

As you could see in the image attached, there is a solid and a circle black drawn. This circle is indicating a extrusion made from the base until the horizontal cylinder. Everything is ok but as you could see, there is a line created after the extrusion and this line appears also in the drafting. There is a way to erase this line in the drafting?

Thanks in advance for any reply.

In drafting go to Edit>View>View Dependent Edit, select the view you want to edit and, under "Add Edits" in the dialogue box, select "Erase Objects". Pick the lines you want to remove and click "OK".

mmauldin, Thanks a lot it works!!

Thanks so much =)

If you could upload the part I suspect that there's a way to model it so that there were no extraneous edges to start with.

OK, attached is my modified version of your file.

Note that it's constructed using a few less features and with sketches which are better constrained (it appears that you create your sketches with very few geometric constraints, as if you've turned off the auto-constraints and then you add only the ones that you think are needed). Anyway, take a look and see what you think.

Thanks a lot John R. Baker, I have noticed my errors and the tip of erase faces in order to avoid a extrusion have been adapted now. Many thanks!.
