Hello (This is a simple question from a novice [neutral] )

I use NX to export .DXF files
-> Then my company uses DraftSight Free to "clean" sheetmetal.DXF files =>remove bending lines, notations and such extra marks that NX leaves.

Do I really have to manually remove "those extra lines" with delete(I'm new and people that have been like 10 years in this company just use manual deleting [ponder]) or is there some kind of magic layer trick so I can remove everything extra from the drawing with a simple click or two ?

.DXF goes to CNC-machines and I have to "clean" the sheetmetal .DXFs

I tried clean but it can not remove the annotations or such...[upsidedown]

If you could post a sample dwg I could give a definite answer within a couple of minutes. Other than that, you could try the isolatelayer and unisolatelayer commands.

Hope that helps,

Here

Attached example file....
It should be "cleaned"=Meaning no bend lines or annotations just leaving the outlines.(for sheet metal CNC-machine)

- Now people here are only manually deleting them by using the "red rubber=delete"-function with mouse.

[li]I am looking for a simpler solution like deleting a layer perhaps ? Does it exist ?[/li]
