But millennials know better than you, just ask them, they'll tell you.

Hello Franklin,

I don't know if you've found your answer yet or not, but there is a way to get it back. On a side note, every once in a while they make sweeping changes that leave some of us baffled. This is one of them. Another example is how I'm still fixing legacy engage/retract moves from when they changed how normal to part worked. Anyways, I've attached what should get it working for you again.

Hi Dawson70, My fix was littering my desktop with template parts from version 12. I just downloaded your pdf, I like it much better, thank you.

Hello Franklin,

That's similar to what I had to do before they fixed it (put it back). I'm glad that I was able to help.

Dawson 70, they seem to have removed the engage - retract options from the non-cutting menu also(fixed axis contour), would you happen to have a fix for that also?

After some searching and general wondering about I found the answer. Siemens added "override with smooth connections" some where along the line, if you uncheck this box in the non-cutting-moves the engage/retract options are again available. this has to be millennial driven change :)
