OK, lets say you have 40'x40'x60' tall building. On the top of building you have parapet that is 30'x20'x15' tall.
So, when I design the components and cladding on the parapet, what is a? (10% of least horizontal dimension). Is it the 40' or 20'?
P.S. Why is that all of the examples are always simple blocks when in reality it is not :-(.
