Hi,

I'm looking for electrical wiring software but most of the ones that I have found work great at a component level but I'm looking for something less specific, I will be using it to design and label connections between racks and rack components, In the beginning I used AutoCAD to make simple schematics and never had a problem but I was using maximum 30 or 40 cables problem is I'm at a point where my systems have 900+ cables and it takes a ridiculous amount of time to generate this schematics.

I tried Zuken e3 but I cant say I am a big fan of it, any other suggestions?

Thank you
Alejandro

AutoCAD Electrical is good for PLC type work. If your requirements are similar then it might be worth a look, but definitely try before you buy, and try it on your application, not the one that the AutoDesk people offer you.
