Would it be deemed acceptable to use a yellow zinc coated J429 grade 8 hex bolt embeded in concrete in place of L bent bolts.
From what I can find the hex head anchors provide greater strength.
They surpass the requirements of F1554 grade 36 correct?
Will the yellow zinc corrode rapidly embeded in the concrete? I intend to paint the exposed portion (after tightening) for corrosion protection.
The application is a metal building. The column anchors are as such inside and not subject to salt etc.
