hi,
In drafting, in some features, thread is not visible. I have uploaded a snap in the sequence of creation.
step 1
Created the counterbore hole with the specifications as in the image.
1.Counterbore_hole_adtm9l.jpg

step 2
added symbolic thread to the counterbore hole.
2.Thread_t1jfw8.jpg

step 3:
added chamfer to the above.
3.Chamfer_yfpyx0.jpg

Step 4:
drafting representation of the hole.
4.Drafting_sknkra.jpg

Kindly tell me why is the thread is not displayed in drafting in step 4.

Thanks,
Isha

It works for me in NX9.0.3
You can change the way threads display (see attached video).

Thank you for the video. I am working in NX 8.5. I am still not able to get the thread. I have attached the snap of it below

Hi,
One step I missed.. instead of subtracting the hole from the body in step 1, I am doing a separate subtract feature after the chamfer. would that be an issue?

Hi,
I´m new in this forum, but I´ll try to do my best.
I suppose that you are working in an assembly, aren´t you?
In this case, the problem is the reference set. The reference set of your part is not including the curves, it´s only including the body.

Question, is it only Not showing in section cuts? Can you see the threadcurves viewing the hole from Top?

When you make a sectioncut of a Hole feature you need to make sure it goes directly through the center. Otherwise it will not show the thread curves.

Forget about my last answer, I think is not the problem.
I´m tryng to reproduce this error in NX8.5 (I usually work with NX10)
Could be just that you are not doing the section from the middle of the hole?

Look at this example that I´ve done.

hi,
Thank you for all your solutions. Since i created the thread on the extrude feature so after subtrqacting the feature, the thread didnt display. When i create a thread on hole then it displays. Thanks to all.

But now i have another problem. The extrude feature has been wave linked in another part. Now after subtract in this wave linked part, The symbolic thread option is showing error but detailed thread with same values is working fine.
Any solution to this new problem.
