Hello, I want to do material characterisation of ASTM A53 GRade B type e Material. i do not have the material so i cannot do test. but based on online data I have the mechanical properties. I would like to know how should i approximate the relation between stress-strain curve in the plastic region until fracture.

show the curve here and tell which one you don't understand.

What for, what application. During the plastic phase part yielded, and is failing.once yield is reached, elastic to plastic phase. Part is failing tense mode.

What part of this easily found diagram don't you understand?

Note this is stress, not force.

As yield goes plastic, the area reduces and hence force reduces for the same stress.
