Nice to meet you!

I'm a junior engineer, and I have a question while studying for the LRVP.

What is the difference between a liquid ring vacuum pump and a liquid ring vacuum compressor?
I searched on Google, but I couldn't find a clear explanation.

Thank you in advance for your response.

All vacuum pumps are compressors. They are just operated at below ambient suction pressure and at ambient discharge pressure. This may cause some design differences due to the different operating conditions.
