lol API 5L X60M is an USA standart of material so to be tested with ASME and from EN we took the loads to calculate knowing that EN and ASME have their equivalent grades of steel. but my answer was which tests are mandatory for each pipe length acording ASME. Anyway thank you.

our design code used are from EN and pipe standart is API 5L X60M. But as Testing procedures we required to be acording ASME...

I was reading the standard ASME B31.1-2010 Power Piping, In this standard are mostly mentioned the testing about welds,Hydro static Testing and pneumatic testing. I am interested to know if are other testing methods like charpy test that are necessary. I mean for fabrication production...

The process is SMAW cellulosic electrodes. I decited for the root pass BOHLER FOX CEL and other passes BOHLER FOX CEL 85. Thanks for yor reply mate..
