    @ FEA way Thanks for your reply. I tried to do exactly what you explained but THE problem is, The point belonging to a connector must be tied to a connector(as we did with flange). Now I DON'T REAALY now how to tied a point to a connector!! Any suggestion should be welcomed!!!

    Hi I want to mount a TMD (m,k,c) on my beam-like structure in Abaqus. The beam has a mass at its top(point mass in abaqus). Practically, a tmd should be placed inside the top mass.     Element, type=Spring1, elset=Springs/Dashpots-KRL-spring KLR is cross coupling (lateral-rotational) stiffness of slender pile for homogeneous soil. For example the DOF of KL and KR here are 1 and 6 respectively. Whats KLR DOF?
