    Water Injection Pipelines Integrity

Since there are not much parametars that you have provided for us, I guess that phusical characteristics (pressure, temperature)of plastic pipes are OK. Anyhow, I disagree with your choice because of possibilities of mechanical damage of the pipes, repairing procedure is more complicated, and...

Feed water valve from de-aerator tank

Thanks for your posts, guys. But, I'll install the block valve, just in case. All of them will be normaly open, so problem expectancy should be minimum.

Feed water valve from de-aerator tank

Yes, I am concerned. It is not a short section also, it has apoximatelly 15 m of lenght, but what worries me is emptying of the tank during maintanance. Could you help me with any standard that works with this matter?

Feed water valve from de-aerator tank

Hi all. I would like to ask you, is there any standard requirements for installing main valve on feed water line? On existing line, there are two valves on the branches leading to boiler feed pumps, but no valve on the main line. In case of changing/maintaning of any valve, feed water tank will...

Way to equalize pressure in parallel pipes

You didn't try the simplest way, just put flow meter and measure total flow from each line. It might be enough, so you wouldn't need to make any adjustment. If there is a big difference in flow, you will know which pipe needs to be adjusted. Use appropriate valve, restriction oriface etc...

gas relief valve in liquid service

Pressure releif valves, doesen't make any difference of the fluid pressure. However, you must take care for how will the liquid affect surface of the valve? Will it increase corrosion? It might be agressive to the sealings!

Welded flat ends per UG-34 & Weld type

Prepare the welding surface for V-noch, and weld them from the outside with suitable metod and electrode. Find the best suitable electrode for both materials (It's not mentioned material for the cylinder). It is not neceserry to acess it from inside. Weld it in several layers untill you reach...

Stainless steel flanges with carbon based bolts

OK, I agree that B7 can be used with SS flanges, but in my case, it will be used outdoor, so there will be large ammount of humidity, and it is also used for natural gas pipeline flanges. I am still for the solution of usage of SS bolts.

Stainless steel flanges with carbon based bolts

I have a doubt, can it be used stainless steel flange, with carbon bolts? On the plant that I'm currently working, WNRF flanges A/SA 182 are connected with B7 bolts. Is it allowed by ASME connections of different types of materials? Will it increase corrotion rate?
