1. Article 500.8(A)1 of the NEC gives manufacturers several choices to determine suitability of haz loc equipment, as follows:
1. Equipment listing or labeling (by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory- NRTL), or

Many China products have CE Marking but if you read the Standard, they don t apply many year ago. if you buy some China products in Europe they have UL mark to.
But in China you can have good products too.
I have that doubt cause in Europe only electric products work above 75 Vdc have need EN 60950-1 (similar US standar). And our produts have ANSI/UL 60079-11, the are intrinsically safe.
Thank you
Hey
I am working in a company sell products in Europe with ATEX certification( hazardous locations ). Our products will be certificated for UL 60079-0, FM 3600, FM 3610 and UL 60079-11. But our products work with battery below 50 VDC, they will need UL 60950-1 certification?
thank you
cause, our products are intrinsically safe, what really relevance of the type of protection? we have in Europe products approved to Class I zone 0 (US NEC Article 505)
My company sell products in Europe with ATEX certification( hazardous locations ). Now we want sell on US market and the standard are similar.
But I have a doubt in relation to enclosure, our Polycarbonate/ABS enclosure has ip 65, which is the match in the U.S. market?
