Sorry about the delayed reply. Yes the solid is in the final model too. There are two rigid wires which are tied to the solid. The MPC connectors are connected to the RP of those rigid wires. B.C's is such that the x face is fixed at the origin.

What is the difference between using a MPC link constraint between 2 nodes vs connecting the 2 nodes with a wire and then assigning a MCP link connector section to that wire? Will it give me the same answer during analysis ?

the selected entity was created by an assembly level feature. For the model to generate properly apply all constraints before creating the assembly level feature error in abaqus. What does that error mean. I am trying to align the parts in assembly but not able to due to the error message...

In Abaqus CAE when I am modeling my top surface of the crack doesn't bend with the bottom surface of the crack, it interpenetrates with each other how to fix it. I can put constraints between the surfaces but that doesn't give me the right results. I am modeling delamination in composite material.
