    Over/Under dimension Limit tolerances

Yeah I just figured it out. Normally in the config.pro file you select display ISO or ANSI standard which I played with with no effect. In the dimensions properties box, there is a check box for "Dispay ISO dimension," which fixed the display. Before clicking the check box in my dim...

    Over/Under dimension Limit tolerances

In Pro/E WF5 the limit tolerances showed in drawings as an over under limit. That is the high value on top of the low value. In Creo/Parametric the limit dimensions are now displaying as High-Low. Is there a way to display them as it did before?

    machining cut in Pro E

What are you using for the sweep? If you use a varriable section sweep you can set the section plane control to normal to a projection. This will limit the profile from moving in an additional axis, simulating a 3-axis machine. If I am understanding you right though, it would seem like you...

    machining cut in Pro E

Is this a Pro/E question or a machining question? Are you asking if the cut can be machined in 2 steps?

    Pro-e Point Import

Sounds like you should be using a different software package. Are your points from some sort of scan? You need some program that can mesh point files, like Geomagic. Pro/E was not designed to mesh point data.

Wildfire 4.0 File Management and Revision Control

If you want you are welcome to have the batch file I use. I put the batch file in each model folder, and when you run it it creates a sub folder called "old" and moves all but the current file into the "old" folder. It also goes through and deletes the log files and other scrap files. Let me...

    machining cut in Pro E

Just make a curve for the path, then use a sweep to sweep the profile of the ball end mill.

    Pro e - Pattern a extrude along curve(picture)

I don't know your intent, but from your pictures I would suggest you may be better off using the sheetmetal application. Create your part as a flat part with a simple linear disk pattern. Bend the part after you have it all set up. In addition to being the easiest way to do what you have...

    CREO 1.0 maintenance partners download?

Anyone know, if you have a maintenance agreement and a licence for Pro/E should you be licenced for Creo 1.0 Parametric? I got an email from PTC marketing Creo stating that Creo 1.0 was now available for maintenance partners and it now shows up in my account's available downloads section. From...

    Creo is out whats next??

dgallup is correct Enginerd, The version you have is a re-branded version of WF5. It is the same build as WF5 but the title bar says CREO and you licence says CREO Pro/Elements. The actual revised software package doesn't come until this summer at the earliest.

    Creo is out whats next??

I overall really like Pro/E or Creo or whatever you want to call it, but I agree that they have some issues they need to fix. A lot of the issues seem to be easy fixes, but for some reason PTC never seems to take care of them. I also don't like when the update half the features of the program...

Disable the pro\e web when start the program

You cane set web_browser_homepage to something like C:\ to prevent Pro/E from loading web content when you start it up.

    Airfoil Cross Section?

I'm not really sure what you mean by wall feature.

    Airfoil Cross Section?

You will be prompted within the tool. If you want to you can make a curve beforehand and use its geometry in the section, but you can just do it in the flow of the tool prompts.

    Airfoil Cross Section?

Haha, that isn't a table, that is the section. As I was doing this quickly I didn't take the time to reorient the section lines (they are horizontal on the section).

Sorry here is the section, missed it on the first post.http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=e799aae7-3438-40c1-941d-f5512f06dba9&file=drw0001.pdf

    Airfoil Cross Section?

I am not sure how to unfold a section that follows a curve (when I try what normally works for a planar align doesn't seem to work for a curve). You can check out the attached drawing to see what my results were. I went to view>view manager in the model. Go to the Xsec tab and choose new...
