We have been using Merry Mech for years now, but their support is lacking. Just curious what others are using and if you are happy with it.
Thanks, Mark
We have an Amada 2415 with Fanuc control. We cut primarily S/S and if you go into cut conditions click on pierce condition change type from 0 to 135.
On ours, that brings the nozzle to about 1" off material, quick shot and clears about 1/4" of the plastic. Then cut away.
The smaller pic looks like it might be from a VIpros punch/laser combo. They use brushes for the material to ride on. Reduces punch noise. What problem are you haveing with rollers? We have a 2415 and have no problems.
It's a start button on the same panel on the right/back end of the machine where you open/close workholders. As well as gauge block up and bearing choice. To the right of the emergency stop button.
The one we have did not come with one but it has the place for it. I would like to put one there, but Amada doesn't seem to want to help.
Thanks in advance
