Dear Luis,
Thank you very much for your answer.
This is not always the problem. After some tests i have done it is not regarding to the normals. I use Ansa and the normals are ok but again i take negative volume elements.
I think it has something to do with the jacobian.

Dear Abaqus users,
I have a model that i wanted to solve with abaqus. After meshing it through a preprocessor and trying to run it, An error about negative volume exists.
I have seen from other users that i have to change the normals or remesh the volume or refine the area.
What i want to...
Make first an evaluation between the popular preprocessors and then choose which one suits you better.
Of course it is faster to mesh with a program that is a preprocessor.

In LS-Dyna it is always recommended to use the automatic contacts.
So maybe the automatic node to surface contact should work.
But that depends on what you want to do with the contact.
User's guide is good also.

From what i understand that he sais he is propably using Catia FEA. it only gives these two things.
And also the dimensions for the element are taken from the geometry and so most of the times really huge.
I think putting the geometry on Ansys Workbench should be the solution because it defines...
I think that if you let your car brake by itself and in the end apply the brakes a little harder than usual is the most cost effective braking.
Because 1 the engine is in high revs so no fuel is going in the engine. So more engine braking
2 Aero does more job at high speed.
3 And shorter...
Not much of an ansys specialist, but try them all.
Or try two of them. I once had the same problem. Afterall the problem was not in the contact but in the units.

Ok then if it is a sport's vehicle and it's the first time then you should probably use spherical bearings on the wheel side and rod ends on the frame side. You could watch Formula Student photos. They could be helpful.
