When i go to export a DWG i can choose two settings under the 'Input and Output' tab, either Modeling or Layouts. If i choose layouts and go to the next tab 'Data to Export,' i can choose all sheets or pick and choose individual sheets. BUT, if i do this the views come in to Autocad on...

UGNX10 Arrangements within the same component in an assembly

Are the shock assembly files the same assembly with just two arrangements. And you are using the same assembly file in four seperate assemblies (RF, RR, LF, LR)? Or is it two seperate assebly files Front and rear. And then you are using the same Front assembly in on the left and right. Doing...

UGNX10 Arrangements within the same component in an assembly

Couldn't you just make a separate arrangement that has the components in the locations you want and just save that as a whole new arrangement rather than one or the other.

Export DWG with views all on the same plane

Currently we are trying to export NX drawings to a dwg file. If a section view is used. the dwg file shows the section view as single lines overlaping each other. The end user is only using AutoCAD LT which is 2D only. So we would like to be able make sure every view ends up on the x-y plane. Is...

Line weights on pdf drawings all the same

In NX i have some components that i have purposely shown in a bolder line weight. When export it as a pdf or try to print dirextly from NX the line weight are all the same. Why is that? Do i need to change a setting to be able to keep the lineweights how i have them.

    Step file that retains assembly

Followed your exact instructions and came out with a step file that was only 30Kb, no where close to 3Mb. Opening it up it looks like only the drawing border came through. No solids or sheets.

    Step file that retains assembly

no we do not use teamcenter or any file management system. and the only special characters i use in some of the names are _ and - but like i said i tried creating a assembly with a very basic name (model1) and used PhoeNX assembly that he was able to correctly export. And still was not able...
