How do you find the part in the assembly navigator when there are hundreds of parts and many different levels of subassemblies?

NX and ProE each have their strengths and weaknesses. In general, NX is far more flexible than ProE IMO. Try turning a part model into an assembly model or an assembly model to a part model in ProE.

I am talking part preferences here, not drafting standards or session preferences.

From what I read, the defaults that apply to the part have to be manually added. Only preferences > sketch preferences > part settings has a button "inherit from customer defaults". I was hoping there was an automated way to apply all part preferences from customer defaults.

I would like to apply my updated customer default settings to existing template parts. Using NX 7.5.4, how is this done?
