SSPC SP-2 is not the standard for Galvanized Steel. So it doesn't mean that all galvanized surface need to be applied with SP-2 and there is no meaning. If roughness is the requirement you may go for SSPC SP16. Or, only if there are some bare spots or rust, you can go for SSPC SP-2.

There is no such guidelines for coating selection followed in the industry. I have worked with Clients who requires coating to meet the design temperature. In my personal opinion, 10% than the max OT is quite sufficient and decent selection.

I hope your lead paint should be an epoxy.
Since you need to really ensure the sound coating, as a coating specialist I would suggest to get at least 6MPa as the acceptance criteria.

2) This is for inlet separator and colescers where the similar fluid is passing.

Thanks a lot for the inputs. This is from deep well, and it does not contain any oxygen or sulphur. (ppb value of oxygen is unknown), so 'no oxygen' is design consideration. If I select DSS, I am worried about the PWHT of DSS clad, and if solid, it is expensive...
