    Uploading Problem

Okay, so this question is a bit of tricky one. Not sure if this is the best place to ask because it also has alot to do with computer but it's worth seeing if anyone knows the solution. We have a control right now for a CNC that we can plug in a USB to upload programs. The problem is though that...

UG NX I need to know how to switch out a drawing sheet in a existing drawing, not add a sheet 2 etc.

The only problem you will run into is if the sheet you are using is larger than the size that you would like to change it to because everything might not fit onto the small sheet. If this is the case scale everything and move it into the bottom left corner, then switch the sheet size. You can...

    Duplicate solids

Duplicate as in only geometry? Or also in the same position? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

changing the work layer after importing

You can change the layers of the views regardless of it being imported or a component. I think it will be easier to find a solution if we knew why you need to change the layer. Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    id symbol count

You want to change the id symbols but not the partlist? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    Seeing the whole picture

This sounds like some sort of graphics issue. Is this happening in modeling or drafting? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

What is the UG NX equivalent to ProE's simplified rep?

One more question. Were many of the components created in an array some sort of pattern? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

What is the UG NX equivalent to ProE's simplified rep?

Also could you provide a picture of the part? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

What is the UG NX equivalent to ProE's simplified rep?

Oh man, that is rough. It may take a while but if you can seperate the components to diffirent layers then it will be easy to turn the layers off in the views that you need to without having to hide every individual component Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

What is the UG NX equivalent to ProE's simplified rep?

Layers would certainly help you in this situation. When it was originally created was everything on diffirent layers or all the same layer? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    Complex blend

I was able to blend the faces using edge blend to pretty good effect. Just do each edge seperately. I am not sure what final look you were going for though. Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    feature move

Have you tried move face? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    feature move

What type of movement are you attempting? Vertical/horizontal move, rotate etc. Can you provide a picture of the model? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    sketch Dimensioning

It certainly is diffirent coming home from another program, but once I was used to it I prefer it. Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    Forming a perforated sheet

If you make a sketch and wrap it around the already formed part you will know exactly where they are. Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    Forming a perforated sheet

If I am understanding your question correctly you could model the round shape and then create the perforations in a sketch and as long as they are in some sort of pattern you could quickly pattern them and have what you want Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

NX7.5 some things are not working

You cannot access them or they are not working. What exactly is going wrong? Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

    Missing History Tab

Which role did you load? Maybe you simply need to drag the menus to the top and they should want to snap up there. Or right click and add them if they aren't there. Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace

NX7.5 possible to move section line to new parent view?

If you wont be changing the drawing or model at all you could simply hide the current corrupted parent view and replace it with the new, correct one. Sam Slivinski Using NX 6 Manufacturing/Aerospace
