I guess most facade companies have their own design process..... But generally you can design facade structure the same as any other structure... We use mostly Dlubal RFEM

In Germany we have a glass design code which deals with glass Structures ... Maybe you can find an English copy of this codes somewhere.....

We do thinks like that...currently also in Toronto at The Well project But you need special knowledge in engineering and manufacturing and erection for such structures....

It is a long time ago since I used Femap Nastran the last time ...but yes I think you can do that within the Program... but don't ask me how to do it ..

Mathcad Prime is under 'development' since many many years ... not sure if anybody is usung it Also I think it will be quite expensive to use .... :( I think for the ordinary daily engineering work SMATH will be the better option ... but only my opinion

Yes Mathcad 15 it great....and it works as long as it runs... I grew up with Mathcad....forgot what my first Version was...some 25 years ago ...?? But what I can see the last years Mathcad is at the end of development and maintenance :(
