Thank you TugboatEng. I will get that info tomorrow.
I am curious about the end assembly that houses the bearing. It looks like the cap that is bolted to the barrel houses the bearing and seal. Does this assembly has a name that I may use to search for drawings to understand it's design.
Thanks
Hello everyone.
Another bearing question. Same conveyor system but this time the pulley bearing that I am curious about.
OEM instruction is to grease every 1-2 weeks by pumping grease until we see new grease coming out.
So the question is coming out of what? How do I know that the seal is...
Thank you Jay.
I meant the round thing with a yellow sticker on it and a hose coming out of it. The other image has the hose bolted to the motor flange. Not sure if that is a motor or a gearbox device.
Thanks
Hello everyone,
What is this attached and connected to the gearbox?

Hello Everyone,
What is this thing on the bottom of the VFD? The output of the VFD go to it, the black wires, and then from there it is wired to the motor, the brown, black and grey wires laying on the bottom and are yet to be connected.
Thanks
Thank you everyone.
@TugboatEng , we are using Fluke thermometer.
The machine has been recently commissioned and they're still ironing out few bugs so the conveyors (3 for now and one coming online soon) are running only when the machine runs.
Hello everyone,
I have a conveyor that is supposed to run 24/7, though it is now running nor more that 10 hours per day, and I would like recommendations for monitoring and maintaining two Plummer blocks with roller bearings (I believe shaft size is 70mm). There are grease nipples, so that's...
Hello everyone,
I have a brand new machine with a Schneider pDrive MX Pro 4v drive and I spent hours looking for documentation and it has been a disaster. After spending hours I found few manuals and catalogues here and there but not the one I want.
I am looking for a manual that shows how to...
Thank you jraef.
They just said that and by "they" I refer to management not technical people. I have not powered it up or done anything with it thus far. Whomever attempted this task ended up telling them that they probably need a "bigger one, like the one on the other machine" which is an 18...
LittleInchm , very good point. Having no knowledge of pumping of any kind I thought it was common practice and that it would be self explanatory. I will get some pictures and supplement them with drawing in a few days.
Thanks
Thanks you FacEngrPE and Gr8blu.
The drive has been disconnected and the motor is wire DOL for the time being. The information I got was second hand and it will be a week or so before I get to connect it.
But, I had a look today and it has been wired, bot supply and feed to the motor, using 4/10...
