Hi,
I am trying to calculate the von mises stress for a structure using hand calcualation to validate my FEA results. I don't know what I am doing wrong but the results are far apart. Am I using the right hand calculation method? I am sure the FEA results are accurate as I have verified them...
Hi
could anyone please explain why do we conduct frequency analysis? In Le Mans terms what is it that is extracted from the frequency analysis results? for example in real life situation, for a Ceiling mount monitor bracket system why would a client need to know the frequency analysis?
any...
yeah i read the message file. the problem is with 2 regions of contact. i had to give it up . it required too much computation. i decided to go another way. I decided to analyse the vertical beam now. i just modelled the pipe and horizontal beam as wire structure and modelled the bracket as a...
actually it says
DEGREE OF FREEDOM 5 IS NOT ACTIVE ON NODE 543 INSTANCE PART-9-1 -
THIS BOUNDARY CONDITION IS IGNORED
and the message repeats for various nodeshttps://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=c08f798c-b680-4ebe-bd3b-d98a479a426b&file=Final_Assembly.cae
here's the .CAE file.
i checked the messages, it's says some nodes on part9-1 do not have defined boundary conditions.https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=c08f798c-b680-4ebe-bd3b-d98a479a426b&file=Final_Assembly.cae
I ran the frequency analysis and these are all the error warning. they were same for static analysis. the frequency analysis is still runnnig. -
FOR *TIE PAIR (ASSEMBLY_beam's surf icw pipe-ASSEMBLY_pipe's surf icw beam), NOT ALL THE NODES THAT HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED WERE PRINTED. SPECIFY...
Hi,
I am running a test on a ceiling mount monitor bracket. I have been run the job for hours now but it keeps aborting. the warning messages are negative eigenvalues. my step configuration are okay, you can see the picture, I think you'll agree. I have also checked all my BCs, interactions and...
Hi,
what constraint can I apply between the a 1D beam element (RED) which is M3 bolt and a hole in 3D bracket (orange)? there a RP in front the bracket where the load will be applied and the RP will be coupled with the M3 bolts. I am trying to monitor the stress on a M5 bolt which is further...
