    OK, I think I FINALLY found the ISSUE. ONE assembly within this MONSTER is BAD. I created a SAVE AS copy. In this copy I delete the LAST item I added, saved, closed up Solidworks, and restarted...WHAM it opens. I WISH Solidworks would let you know it there is a CORRUPT item within it...
