What is the best way to bring my dimensions from my model into my drawing? Should I dimension my model including the tolerances, so my drawing will be automatically dimensioned?
Thanks
Yes, it is color on someone elses machine. I cannot post it. We have the same video card. I have windows 7. The other machine does not. Is there a setting I can change?
I have a SW drawing converted from AutoCad. It is in color and when I open it, it first shows up in color but by the time it opens all the way it is in black and white. Can anyone tell me how to make it stay in color?
Thanks!
Well, I found out my problem was caused by a helix I had on a ballscrew drawing. I guess a helical thread can cause a lot of problems on old machines. My company still wants me to draw it like that, even tho it is a purchased part and just supress it while I am working on it. But when I did...
I am using SW 2008 and it crashes a lot and takes about 4 minutes to save. What would cause this? Here is my computer info: 2GB Ram NVDIA Quadro FX 3450/4000 SDI
Thanks!
Here is what I found out from SolidWorks and just want to pass it on. My section was created with a section line that was not a straight line. If your section line is not straight, you cannot do anything to the section view. Thanks for all the help!
Tried that, didn't work...same thing I cannot pick crop view if anything is selected. I right clicked on the view and picked lock view focus, is that how to do it?
If I do that the icon for crop view grays out and is unavailable. My system has 2GB ram and my video card is FX3450/4000 SDI. I have a lot of problems with SW. Could this be the reason?
first I drew a circle (I also tried a polyline) around the part I wanted to keep. Then I picked crop view from the toolbar. It gave me a message " Please sketch a closed sketch profile in the drawing view to create a crop view"
I am trying to crop a section view and it won't do it. Isn't it suppose to? I also tried to crop a regular view and it won't do it there either. What am I doing wrong?
