    I see this a lot. Try Simplify Curve? (Menu-Insert-Derived Curve-Simplify Curve). You can also reference or project into a sketch and the recreate using constrained geometry as you wish. NX 1847 TC 11.5

    Long shot for sure. If you just generate the part family parts you can have a preview of each at least. If the naming conventions is some common prefix with a suffix for example, the Engineer could then scroll through them and view the previews instead of adding component from the part family...
