How can I calculate the flat size of minor or major diameter in ACME threads???

Sorry ,I completely forgot to mention that the i need to calculate the flat size for ACME thread gauges.The machinery handbook contains information about ACME thread,not the GAUGES.
 
Tnx dear KENAT.I looked in the ASME standard,B1.5 1997,
But there was nothing explaining the calculation method of ACME thread gauges flat size.
 
Hang on, by flat size do you meant the flats at the crest and trench of the threads - or are you talking about rolling the gauge from a flat piece of material or something?

If the former, I'm surprised if it's not in the standard - at least implicitly.
