Hi All,

Can anyone shed some light on the cost of large scale site-built anhydrous ammonia storage tanks please? Or does anyone know any company in this field in US or Australia? Please see the total storage requirement below:
• Anhydrous Ammonia Storage capacity: 7600m3
• Storage temperature: -33degC
• Storage pressure: atmospheric

Much appreciated!

Regards,
Jonson

May quiz some of the engineering firms which installed Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems at coal-based power plants for any expertise. We had 6-80,000 gallon tanks put in, but tanks were brought in and storage temperature was atmospheric... Black and Veatch out of Kansas City MO were the engineers.

I also worked on a few SCR jobs and proposals when I was working for SIEMENS Environmental.

Anhydrous Ammonia systems tankage were always multiple shop-built, carbon steel "bullet" tanks combined with a metering system.

Design Pressure was ~250 psig

Multiple tanks facilitated delivery at the same time as usage

There are many of these tanks and tank vendors available across the US due to the mature market for AA in agriculture
