Is anyone else having problems pulling up seismic coefficients on ASCE 7 Hazard Tool. My account won't give me the seismic coefficients and has been trying for hours to build a report.

I've been using the link JoshH gives, works well.
On the old link, on occasion I'd have problems, and sometimes, changing browsers would make a big difference for unknown reasons.

Similar to JStephen, last time I used the ASCE 7 tool I had to use a different browser.

I had not heard of that site before. Thanks for the link, worked great.

I was going to suggest using the USGS seismic hazard map tool, but I just went to their site and the tool I was using is gone (since last week). It's been replaced by a "Unified Hazard Tool" (which apparently is the underlying 'engine' for the ATC tool linked JoshH). It's a pain in the butt and doesn't have the options for me to get the values I need to design per AASHTO. Dang it! It looks like I'll have to go back to using the outdated, error-filled CD from the USGS, until AASHTO and the USGS get something figured out.

HotRod10 - just go use the ATC site instead.

I tried using the ATC site, but it doesn't give the values I need for designing per AASHTO. ASCE uses a different return period/probability of exceedance than AASHTO currently does. The tool on the USGS site allows me to enter a return period, so I could use it, except so far it won't let me change the site classification.

Got it....just wondered why it wouldn't work for you.

I just wish the USGS would have left the old tool up until they had something else for us people who use it for AASHTO designs.
