ASTM A331 LV GR 4140 1

Our client require round bar with STD A331 LV GR 4140. but our supplier is giving as per STD a29-12E1 Gr 4140 AS a331 IS WITHDRAWN. I was checking test certificate & compared with A29. I found chemical composition but could not find mechanical properties & hardness value in A29. Also, test certificate mentions metallurgical properties (Micro inclusion rating as per ASTM) & Grain size as per ASTM. I could not find reference for these in A29. Can any one help me

ASTM A331 was withdrawn and replaced by ASTM A108. You need to use ASTM A108 for more information.

Corypad,thanks. Is there any reference that a108 is the replacement std instead of a331
