Can anyone point me to a worthwhile reference, and/or provide a summary of the difference between CG-4, CH-4, CI-4 oils for diesels? I understand that there are different levels of ash, and that some are more and some are less tolerant to soot, but I'd like to have a little background on the chemistry and the physical mechanisms involved.
