I am looking for a supplier of blast resistant air intake / exhaust dampers (HVAC) for application in a blast resistant control room for an LNG plant.

Instead of making them blast resistant, consider providing explosion vents that opens to release pressure, preventing the built up of damaging pressure in the room. Look in NFPA Codes for design of explosion vents.

Thanks for your suggestion. Any over pressure built up in the control room would discharge through the air distributors in the room. Any suggestion on a venting device which would act fast enough and prevent damage to the HVAC ducting system and build up of over pressure?

Do google search on explosion vents. This is a standard option on dust collector systems. Read NFPA requirements. It is critical to know the material that will cause the explosion because it determines the magnitude of the pressure pulse that must be vented. You have to cordinate with the architect where to safetly vent to - wall or roof. Provide cable restraints on covers that may fly off. Provide handrail barrier around vent so people will not be there in case it vents. There are plastic bubble like skylight or wall covers that are designed to blow in segments, minimizing projectiles.

Well, I am also looking for similar information on Blast Resistant Damper for both intake and exhaust.

Could find only one vendor -
Please share the information of any other vendor/manufacturer, if you know.

Regards
