hello everybody,

i would like to create a model in a heat conduction problem where I need to specifiy the heat flux on the model boundaries. The heat flux depends on the temperature on the boundary (actually even the T-gradient) so that the flux changes with the calculated temperature field.
How can this be modelled?

Thanks in advance and best regards!

A heat flux that varies with the surface temperature is called forced convection, where q/A=h(T-Ta). Arrange your heat flux into that form and use the *film option. ALternatively you could write a user subroutine.
