thread1203-474921 Hi, following the referred thread, my question is: What is the centre-to-face dimensions for RTJ Flanges? Is the "face" the end of the raised face portion or the bottom of the grove? See attached picture for clarification:

API-STD-526 face to face dimensions are exactly that, face to face, whether RF or RTJ finished. In your case the yellow arrow.

*** Per ISO-4126, the generic term
'Safety Valve' is used regardless of application or design ***

*** 'Pressure-relief Valve' is the equivalent ASME/API term ***

ASME B 16.5 says it's the red line if that's what you mean? dimension P is diameter.

If you mean face of flange then it's the yellow line or black line on the flange drawing below.

Dimension E is different between RTJ and RF

Thank you for the quick responses.
I think The Obturator got my point, though I wrote the wrong request.
What I meant was center-to-face dimension according to API 526 (not face-to-face).
Means from center of PRV to face of flange. (That's why I referred the former post.)
So, I assume, the yellow arrow is correct here.

Yessir! Yellow Arrow it is.
