Color selection preferences

I'm currently working in NX3 and when switching between work part and displayed part my color selection preferences reset to default (white).

Is there a way to change the selection color so it applies globally to all my windows?

What's happening is that your part files are using different color palettes. If you set your color palettes the same this problem should go away.
