For conventional design of wood framing, many of the IRC provisions are limited to buildings with a basic wind speed of 100 mph or less. For conventional design at greater wind speeds, the IRC says to either refer to the WFCM for One and Two Family Dwellings or the ICC Standard for Residential Construction in High Wind Regions.

Does anyone here know the difference between these documents? Do they basically give the same requirements?
