There does not seem to be much activity for this area (Draftsight), although Draftsight compares favorably with Autocad Lt.
I prefer Draftsight, along with BricsCad. If you can't find an answer on this forum, you can go to an Autocad Sight (Forum) and
you may find the answer. Both are very similar.

I haven't run across such a command, but you raise an interesting question. A quick search through the alias list didn't pull up anything, but I did find a hidden way to do it.
COPY:
Basically if you copy an object normally it will pick the bottom left corner as the default insertion point. If you use the "copy@" command then you can choose the insertion point which you want to rotate around later.
Here is where it gets tricky.
PASTE:
When you use the paste command it asks you to "Specify destination". If you type "rotate" (or "ro" for the shortcut) as the destination point then it enters a secret mode and allows you to specify a rotation angle. Voila!! Specify your angle and then place your object wherever you want it.
PS
I could only get this to work by typing out "rotate" or "ro". I never could get it to work by using a shortcut key combo for rotate or by clicking on the rotate icon while the paste command was in progress.
