Cutting force: formula

Hi, I want to calculate the tangential cutting force Ft.
Can someone give me a good reference or the formulas?

Are you sure you want the cutting force or do you want the speed and feeds etc for cutting your material, if the latter is the case then do a Google search.

torque= Fc X D(avg)/2

The torque you get from the power of your lathe depending on rpm of the chuck.

on page 7 Fc = cutting force

this is a copy of page 7:-
