Creating a Detail View in a drawing.
One of the options for the 'Label on Parent' is to have an Arrow from the label to the dotted detail circle (So the letter isn't just floating in space, but somewhat connected to the detail circle)

Problem is that I cannot control the end point of the arrow. I can move the label, but the arrow head always sticks to the same point on the detail circle.
If I move the label to the other side, the arrow goes through the detail circle and looks bad.

I was told that the arrow sticks to the point you select when you set the diameter of the detail view, and can't find a way to change this.

Is there any way to redefine the end point of the label arrow on the detail circle?

It's a pretty minor issue, but a nuisance every time I detail a drawing.

Thanks.

Move the label until the leader "snaps" normal to the circle. You can then move it while keeping this relationship by holding the shift key down as you move.

Hold your SHIFT key down while moving the label and the arrow will move with it and always point to the center of the circle

All this time, I was also having headache over this arrow end point issue like MDGroup.
Thanks ewh for the tip![thumbsup2]

jerry1423 is correct; the intial move to snap is not necessary.

Then it looks like you cannot do what you need to.
A Shift key is standard equipment on any computer I have ever been on.

Well keyboard work fine. It's NX. I wandering if there is any parameter in options responsible for this
